. Configuring Outlook ExpressTo configure outlook express to collect mail from the Corporate Ace mail servers perform the following tasks. 1. Start Outlook Express 2. From the toolbar menu choose the Tools option and then select Accounts from the drop down list
3. From the box that appears select the Mail tab as shown below and then click on the Add button. A small context menu will appear from which you should choose Mail
When you have done this click Next
When you have done this click Next
6. At this point you will be asked to enter your mail server names as shown below mail.corporateace.net.
When you have done this click Next
7. At this screen you are promoted for your username and password for mail. Refer to the mail you were send from Corporate Ace - this will contain this information. Enter the username into the account name box and the password into the password box. Note: Your username will take the format username@domainname but without the .com or .co.uk or .net etc. at the end!
Then go back to “Tools then into “Accounts” and highlight the mail account you have just set up and choose “properties” and the following should appear:
Click on the "Server" tab
Then make sure the box "My server requires authentication" is ticked
Then Click Apply and the OK to close the mail setup proceedure.
You can set Outlook Express to check for emails automatically by going into "Tool" then "options" and in the general tab setting the timeframe as you prefer.
You should now be able to send and receive mail using your new mail account.
